New wool!!!

Always on the look out for different things we have now got in stock these beautiful new yarns from Rowan and some fantastic books to go along.

Rowans Felted Tweed (£8.85) is a blend of merino wool, alpaca and viscose and knits to a DK weight.  The yarn has a beautiful tweed effect perfect for fairisles, striping and other colour work and the rustic colour palette is immensely beautiful and works wonderfully with the patterns in Martin Storey’s book which we also have in stock at £9.99.

Rowans Softyak is priced £7.50 and is just divine. It would work wonderfully well with some of the patterns in the new Rowan magazine which is packed full of patterns and very good value at £12.50.

Permin have brought out these beautiful farmyard cushions.  They are 100% cotton and stitched on Aida.  The kit (without cushion inner) is £37.75.  This looks like a good project for a Christmas present to me.  It will sew up relatively quickly with it being on Aida.  I cant wait to get my hands on one.  The Friesian is the one for me though!
